Hello, I’m Kay,
I offer Hatha style yoga classes suitable for all abilities. I have been practising yoga for many years and love the vast variety of poses, breathing and relaxation techniques. I find many of the ancient yoga philosophy teachings are still relevant to living in the modern world. Practising yoga calms my mind and energises me, and I hope through attending my classes you will gain the same experience.
Classes are available to view via Zoom if you prefer (contact me for details).
What’s in a class?
Yoga is the union of mind, body and breath. Each class includes:
- Breathing practices
- Postures
- Relaxation
- Soothing music
Qualifications
I am a British Wheel of Yoga Diploma registered yoga teacher.
Suitable for adults of all ages and abilities
Practising yoga can help to increase your muscle tone and strength as well as promote flexibility, and good posture. It can also have added benefits such as improving your energy levels, having a good night’s sleep, as well as releasing endorphins that can improve your mood and help to eliminate stress and anxiety.
The Hatha branch of yoga is one which incorporates most yoga styles.
